Unaudited operating revenues for gaming concessionaire Wynn Macau rose 14.2 percent during the first quarter of this year to $989.2 million, driven in part by a 23 percent increase at Wynn Palace while earnings at Wynn Macau’s peninsula property fell slightly.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and rent (EBITDAR) rose 10.9 percent to $279.4 million, led by a 25.9 percent increase at Wynn Palace, where the property EBITDAR came in at $203.8 million. The casino business at Wynn Palace climbed 27.1 percent to $564.1 million
Operationally at the Cotai property, table game win percentages for its mass market segment were 26.6 percent, above 24.8 percent reached in the first quarter of 2025. VIP table game wins as the percentage of turnover were 3.11 percent, within the property’s expected range of 3.1 percent to 3.4 percent, and above the 2.61 percent recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
Higher expenses weighed on Wynn Macau’s peninsula operations, where property EBITDAR slipped 16.2 percent to $75.6 million. Despite the drop in average number of table games for both the VIP and mass market segment, total casino revenues managed to rise 0.4 percent to $276.7 million.
Table game win percentages for its mass market segment at Wynn Macau were 15.1 percent, down from 18.7 percent in the first quarter of last year. VIP table game win percentages stood at 0.39 percent, well below the property’s expected range of 3.1 percent to 3.4 percent, and also below the 1.09 percent recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
According to analysts, management reconfirmed that construction for its $950 million Enclave Tower, a 432 all-suite hotel for Wynn Palace, will begin construction in the second half of this year.
The results come amid a slew of operating results and industry numbers. Gross gaming revenues came in at a softer than expected 5.5 percent in April, bringing year-to-date growth to 8 percent. For 2026, Jefferies is forecasting GGR growth of 6.8 percent, with the VIP segment rising 4.8 percent while mass-market expands 6.9 percent.
