Dongguan 

Guan 2.0 Electronic Music Festival

One of the region’s biggest electronic music festivals is returning to Dongguan for the second year, with headline acts including Nicky Romero, Morten, Must Die! and Ookay.

Guangzhou

2026 GAFA Degree Show

Graduates of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) are displaying an array of artworks centered around the paradox of personal identity in a world of conformity. 

Date: 23 May to 27 June
Venue: Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (University City)

AISG Community Art Exhibition 

Showcasing over 180 art pieces by students from the American International School of Guangzhou (AISG), this public exhibition seeks to raise funds for left-behind children in Guangdong’s countryside. 

Date: 20 to 26 May
Venue: Uno Art Space, B1 Floor, Gal Tower, Haizhu

Subscription Concert 15

With renowned English conductor Jonathan Nott at the helm, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and pianist George Li will be performing a program of works by 19th-century composers Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann.

Huizhou

SatorDuo Libertango Concert  

SatorDuo, an ensemble established by Italian violinist Paolo Castellani and guitarist Francesco Di Giandomenico, will be performing a 70-minute show that showcases their unique blend of contemporary Spanish and South American music.

Hong Kong

Comic Con 2026

Hong Kong’s first-ever official Comic Con features a packed lineup of blockbuster studio displays, celebrity meet-and-greets, anime, collectibles across comics, and more.

The Asian Avant-Garde Film Festival 

The film festival returns for its third edition, bringing together artists and filmmakers from different parts of Asia as they explore the topic of space.

Jiangmen

Flying Little Jazz Dream

The Little White Jazz Bigband, an 18-strong music group established by the Guangzhou Youth Contemporary Music Association, is staging a show that will feature different types of jazz, including swing jazz, Latin jazz and jazz funk.

Macao 

Beyond Expo

Macao’s flagship tech and innovation expo returns with a programme spotlighting today’s hottest topics – from AI and robotics to digital health – featuring international speakers sharing insights on global innovation.

Vino Condiviso 

Savour nearly 100 wines from some of Italy’s most beloved regions – Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany and Sicily – paired with canapés at this year’s edition of Vino Condiviso.

Shenzhen

Robots will lead the conversation at the Shenzhen Future World Robot Conference

2026 Lin Dan Cup Shenzhen Badminton Open 

Around 720 badminton players from over 10 countries are competing in this year’s Lin Dan Cup, which features four categories of events – men’s singles, mixed team, youth and local corporate badminton.

2026 Shenzhen Future World Robot Conference

Participants of this exhibition will find themselves transported to the future, as they view a selection of advanced robots and enjoy robot football matches and a space shuttle-themed dining area populated by robot waiters.
