Hengqin

Hengqin sits across the water from Macao, at the intersection of the SAR’s future ambitions and the Greater Bay Area’s push for closer integration. Part of the Guangdong–Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, it is becoming a test bed for cross-border living, business, education, healthcare and transport – while retaining a quieter, greener character than the neighbouring casino hub.
