Cartier has opened an expanded boutique at the Shoppes at Four Seasons, presenting a concept of luxury retail that leans on local references – from the city’s maritime bond to its fireworks‑lit nights – within an easy‑flowing layout of curated areas.
At 680 square metres, the store is Cartier’s largest in Macao and bears the signature of Paris studio Bidard & Raissi. The interior sports warm champagne hues, carved stone and rich woods, all balanced out by subtle colour accents.
Drawing on Macao’s cultural landscape, the boutique houses the Maison’s latest novelties and signature creations across dedicated areas – VIP salons, separate women’s and men’s sections, a bridal area and a high‑jewellery room.
The Women’s Universe, as the women section is dubbed, features a custom mosaic by French artist Mathilde Jonquière that reworks Cartier’s panther emblem against bursts of colour evocative of Macao’s night skies and fireworks.

The store also introduces Macao’s first open salon and bar, a green‑hued corner with hand‑assembled mosaic floors evocative of the city’s calçada. Here, shoppers are welcomed to drinks before exploring the collection.
Highlights on display include high‑jewellery from the Geometry & Contrasts line, the latest Santos‑Dumont timepieces, and home pieces such as the Cartier Fauna and Flora chess set, which features a zebrawood and walnut marquetry board with gold‑plated brass pieces.
“This new chapter marks not only an expansion but a continuation of the Maison’s story in the city, one that inspires and captivates through each thoughtful expression of style and craftsmanship,” the brand said in its press release.
Founded in Paris in 1847, Cartier made its name with landmark pieces such as the Santos and Tank watches and the panther motif popularised under Jeanne Toussaint. Today the brand trades on that heritage and stands as a global symbol of high jewellery.
