Shenzhen will host the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum on 14 October 2026, with Dubai Chambers announcing the event under the theme “Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success.” It marks the second time the forum has been held in China, following a Beijing edition in August 2024 that drew more than 800 business leaders.
The forum will bring together senior business leaders, investors, multinational companies and technology firms from both Dubai and China to advance strategic partnerships and explore opportunities across the digital economy, emerging technologies, logistics and advanced manufacturing. The agenda will feature curated discussions and targeted networking sessions aimed at helping participants translate strategic opportunities into real business outcomes.
According to organisers, Shenzhen was chosen for its standing as a global centre for technology, innovation and advanced manufacturing, and its position at the heart of the Greater Bay Area. Dubai Chambers said the city provided an ideal setting to explore synergies in areas shaping the future of global business – from digital transformation and smart mobility to venture capital and next-generation technologies.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the forum reflects the strength of the Dubai-China economic relationship. He added that it will help Chinese companies expand into regional and international markets through Dubai’s business ecosystem, while supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy.
The commercial backdrop is strong. Non-oil trade between China and the UAE reached $111.5 billion in 2025, up 24.5 percent year-on-year, while 292 Chinese companies joined Dubai Chambers in the first quarter of 2026 alone, bringing the total number of active Chinese member companies to 6,532.
