The Macao Grand Prix Museum celebrated its fifth anniversary on Monday with free admission for residents and visitors, marking a milestone that has seen the venue welcome over 600,000 guests since its expansion in 2021.
Run by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the museum recorded 164,461 visitors in 2025, of which 10,817 attended as part of guided tours across 694 school, organisational and public groups. Between January and May this year, the museum welcomed 67,001 visitors – putting it on pace for another strong year.
To mark the anniversary, the museum debuted a Formula 4 race car model at 1:1 scale for permanent exhibition. Modelled on the second-generation Mygale Formula 4 car that featured in the inaugural Macau Formula 4 Race – the FIA F4 World Cup at last year’s Macau Grand Prix – the exhibit gives visitors an up-close look at the dimensions and mechanics of modern entry-level formula racing.

Celebrations also included an interactive game called Lens Hunter: Code Breaker Adventure, which guided visitors through the history and culture of the Macau Grand Prix, as well as a well-attended wooden model workshop themed around legendary driver Ayrton Senna’s Formula 3 car – an award-winning design recognised at the Hong Kong Smart Design Awards.
MGTO director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes and deputy director Jennifer Si Tou both visited the museum on the anniversary day. The museum is open daily except Tuesdays, from 10 am to 6 pm. More information is available here.
