Fashion house Louis Vuitton has merged high fashion with elite-level cycling, debuting a custom-designed Pinarello Dogma F “couture superbike” at its men’s spring-summer 2027 runway presentation. While the bicycle serves as a visual spectacle – featuring hand-finished detailing, chrome accents, and the maison’s iconic monogram – it remains a fully functional road racing machine, according to media reports.
Constructed with TorayCa M40X carbon fibre, the frame is engineered for stiffness and responsiveness. The technical build includes Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting, Princeton CarbonWorks tri-spoke wheels, and bespoke leather-wrapped contact points.
Despite its decorative embellishments, which include a distinctive gold-chain flourish, the couture superbike weighs only 7.3 kilograms.

The collaboration represents a return of sorts for the entities involved; Pinarello was acquired by LVMH-linked investment firm L Catterton in 2016 before being sold in 2023. This is not the maison’s first foray into the cycling market, following a previous partnership with Parisian firm Maison Tamboite.
The couture superbike will be sold exclusively through Louis Vuitton. While an official price has not been confirmed, industry observers expect the superbike to carry a significant premium.
Given that a standard Dogma F commands a high price and the previous collaboration was valued at nearly $30,000, this bespoke model is expected to retail for well over $50,000.
