Türkiye beat Brazil 3-1 in Sunday’s final to win their second Volleyball Nations League (VNL) title, while Italy closed out the tournament in Macao by beating hosts China for bronze earlier the same day.

Türkiye came from behind to win 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21 in front of 4,000 fans.
Opposite Melissa Vargas was named tournament MVP after finishing with 33 points, the most ever recorded in a men’s or women’s VNL final. Ana Cristina led Brazil with 25 points as the South Americans settled for their fifth VNL silver.
Türkiye captain Gizem Örge said the win was hard to put into words, adding that she had played through significant knee pain.

Italy took bronze with a 25-16, 23-25, 25-22, 25-13 win over China, bouncing back after Saturday’s semifinal loss to Brazil.
Opposite Ekaterina Antropova led all scorers with 26 points as Italy added a first VNL bronze to their trophy collection. Zhuang Yushan top scored for China with 14, closing out the hosts’ tournament in fourth place after their earlier upset win over the USA.
Antropova said the turnaround from Saturday’s defeat was difficult, but called winning bronze an amazing result for the team.
