WTT Champions Macao 2026: Dates, schedule and who’s competing

WTT Champions Macao 2026 runs from 8 to 13 September at the Macao East Asian Games Dome, featuring 64 singles players, 32 men and 32 women, competing for the men’s and women’s titles. Tickets are on sale now through the Damai app and mini program, with a maximum of six tickets per purchase.
What’s the match schedule?
- 8–9 September, plus the first session on 10 September: Round of 32
- Second session on 10 September, and 11 September: Round of 16
- 12 September: Quarterfinals
- 13 September: Semifinals and finals
Who’s competing for China?
China is sending nine players this year, five men and four women, notably without two of its biggest stars. World number one Wang Chuqin headlines the men’s entry alongside Lin Shidong, Wen Ruibo, Xiang Peng and Zhou Qihao. On the women’s side, Kuai Man, Chen Xingtong, Wang Yidi and Chen Yi make up China’s entries. Defending champion Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu are both absent from this year’s field.

Wang Chuqin won last year’s men’s title in Macao, while Sun Yingsha took the women’s crown.
What else is happening around the tournament?
Organisers are running table tennis-themed activities at Anim’Arte NAM VAN from 4 to 6 September and again from 11 to 13 September. The activities include an interactive play zone, a themed photo area and family-friendly games, extending the event beyond the arena itself.
Every spectator 1.2 metres or taller needs a ticket for entry; children under that height can enter free with a paying adult, limited to one free child per adult.
